The APC UPS device installed quickly and without problems on a Windows 10 machine. Software was included although the native software in windows 10 can be used as well. One power outage or spike when the computer is on or on and updating software can be catastrophic. This UPS has bpth battery-powered outlets and spike-arresting outlets with sufficient power for most standard pc's and monitors. It is great insurance.

A battery back up is always a great tool. APC is always one of my favorite brands, offers great service to every costumer and 24/7 online service. Puerto Rico have always fluctuations in the electric service, that's why I always preferred have a battery backup for emergencies and saved all my data and continue having my computer in good shape.
